Dr Jonathan Clive Morris, TU Dresden
The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and the Environmental and Sustainability Management Accounting Network organise the 23rd EMAN Conference focused on Biodiversity and Natural Capital Accounting.
Dr Clive Morris presented his and UNU-FLORES Director Prof Edeltraud Guenther‘s joint paper “Developing a Framework for Measuring Corporate Water Sustainability”.
The aim of the conference is to discuss the possibilities of including biodiversity as part of natural capital in the company’s management accounting, including valuation options for these purposes. Furthermore, this is also done from the point of view of reporting, the use of natural capital accounting, including biodiversity and the monitoring of the impact on the sustainability of the enterprise. A discussion of indicators addressing biodiversity takes place at the enterprise level and linking with reporting at the national level.
The conference addresses issues related to biodiversity and natural capital accounting, performance measurement, management and strategy, management control, measurement tools, and reporting.
