The Green Talents Networking Conference rounds up a two-week Science Forum attended by up-and-coming researchers from numerous countries and scientific disciplines, recognised for their outstanding achievements in making our societies more sustainable. This year marks the ten-year anniversary of the programme under the motto “Smart Green Planet – Solutions for a Sustainable Future”.

Joining embassy representatives, key representatives of the German sustainability landscape, former awardees, and other renowned guests, UNU-FLORES will be taking part in the conference in three ways:

• Meet us at the Market Place event of the programme at Kalkscheune (Johannisstr. 2, 10117 Berlin)
• Speak with our Partnerships and Liaison Officer, Dr Nora Adam, at the Meet and Greet session
• Learn more about the work of our visiting scholar, Shilpa Rumjeet, former awardee of the Green Talents programme, during the presentation of lighthouse projects with Dr Serena Caucci

Background

Every year, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) hosts the prestigious “Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development” to promote the international exchange of innovative green ideas. UNU-FLORES is one of the host institutions of scholars from the programme.
