    As member of the CLEWS (Climate, Land (Food), Energy, and Water systems approach) Steering Committee Dr Mathew Kurian, who heads the Capacity Development and Governance unit at UNU-FLORES, has been invited to present lessons emerging from the Nexus Observatory project at the Summer School on Modelling Tools for Sustainable Development organised by the World Bank, Cambridge University, KTH, and UN DESA. The presentation is part of the High-Level Programme on Modelling.


    Background

    The Summer School on Modelling Tools for Sustainable Development provides training on selected open modelling tools for sustainable development pathways. The Summer School involves four weeks of intensive training for government officials from countries participating in, amongst others, UN DESA, UNDP, World Bank Group, and related capacity development projects on modelling tools.
