How can sustainable, resource-efficient business succeed? The digital Bavarian Resource Efficiency Days on 30 September and 1 October 2021 offer entrepreneurs and interested parties a comprehensive programme.
The Director of UNU-FLORES, Professor Edeltraud Guenther, will present ‘Ressourceneffizienz als ökonomische und ökologische Chance – acht Thesen’ (‘Resource efficiency as an economic and ecological opportunity – eight theses’).
The greatest challenges of our time include climate change, the scarcity of resources and the sustainable use of plastics. The digital Bavarian Resource Efficiency Days offer entrepreneurs and interested parties a platform for this. The focus of the event is on climate protection, digitalisation, plastics and eco-design in the context of resource efficiency. Bavarian Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber will open the Resource Efficiency Days.
The event features expert presentations, practical examples and networking opportunities.
Around 20 renowned experts from research and practice will show how resource efficiency can be achieved. Approaches to solutions, current projects and the winning submissions to the Bavarian Resource Efficiency Award will be presented.
Keynote speakers include, among others, Prof. Christian Berg (Club of Rome), Bernd Draser (ecosign – Academy of Design), Dr Adriana Neligan (Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln e.V.), Dr Tina Buchholz (PlasticsEurope Deutschland), Prof. Klaus-Jürgen Grün (Vice-President of the Ethics Association of German Business e.V.).
