At the First International Conference on Sustainability of Natural Resources (SNR2019), with the theme “Sustainable Solid Waste Management”, UNU-FLORES expert, Prof. Hiroshan Hettiarachchi, will give the keynote speech titled “The Peak of Sustainable Waste Management Assures the Sustainability of Natural Resources, But Only in a Circular Economy.”
In parallel to Vision 2030 of the UN, Saudi Arabia recently unveiled plans for Saudi Arabia Vision 2030. This conference is in support of this vision and also to facilitate learning from international experts on sustainability and sustainable solid waste management.
