Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, die SDGs jugendgerecht zu vermitteln, neue Impulse im Kontext der Jugendbeteiligung durch einen künstlerischen Ansatz zu setzen und einen Austausch zwischen den Sip and Paint-Teilnehmern und Politikern zu initiieren.

Die Veranstaltung findet am 3. Februar 2023 in Weißwasser statt.

Projekt-Hintergrund:

Das Projekt NEXtra Lausitz (gefördert durch den simul+ Mitmachfond) hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, jungen Lausitzer:innen das Thema Nachhaltigkeit näher zu bringen und Ihre Ideen zu den 17 Zielen für nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) und einer lebenswerten Zukunft ihrer Heimat einzufangen.

Um dies auf künstlerische Art zu erreichen, wurden drei sogenannte „Sip and Paint 4 Future“ Veranstaltungen in Niesky, Weißwasser und Hoyerswerda durchgeführt. Dabei malten die Teilnehmenden ihre Vision eines SDGs, während sie von den Expertinnen der Universität der Vereinten Nationen, UNU-FLORES, Impulse zu den einzelnen Zielen hörten. Das Ergebnis ist eine spannende Bilderausstellung, die von den Visionen, Gedanke und Ideen junger Lausitzer:innen erzählt und bei der Abschlussveranstaltung präsentiert wird.

Project Background:

The objective of the NEXtra Lusatia project (funded by the simul+ Mitmachfond) is to bring young people from the area closer to the topic of sustainability, and to capture their ideas and perspectives surrounding the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to support the creation of a new future for their homeland.

To achieve this in an artistic way, three “Sip and Paint 4 Future” events were held in Niesky, Weißwasser and Hoyerswerda. During these events, participants painted their vision for an SDG while listening to impulses on the individual goals from experts from the United Nations University, UNU-FLORES. The result of these workshops is an exciting picture exhibition that expresses the visions, thoughts, and ideas of young people from Lusatia through their own creations – which will be presented at the final event.
