An expert jury of representatives from leading Saxon media and business enterprises decides on the Saxony’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award winners. During the ceremony, the jury will award this year’s prizes.

Director of UNU-FLORES, Prof. Edeltraud Guenther, one of the jury members, will also give a keynote speech on Sustainability Aspects in the Private Sector of Saxony.

Background

The Saxony’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award honours personalities steering their businesses sustainably and economically. They could be founders who dared to enter the market with an innovative business idea or entrepreneurs who make the best use of available resources.

In 2022, for the first time, the new category, “Fokus X – Best Ressourcemanager”, was initiated to accompany the existing areas Saxony’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Saxony’s Founder of the Year. Prof. Edeltraud Guenther supported the jury in this new category, which concentrates on sustainability.
