To culminate the City of Dresden’s campaign to be named a European Capital of Culture for the year 2025, which coincides with the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum exhibition ‘Neue Heimat Dresden 2025’ (running from 11 October to 15 December 2019), the Dresden Cultural Capital Office will present their official ‘Bid Book’ during the exhibition. The event on Friday, 18 October, will encompass presentations from the city’s stakeholders, initiatives, companies, and communities that make up some of the seven ‘Platforms’ that have established projects under the banner of ‘Neue Heimat Dresden 2025’ and as part of the Cultural Capital application.
UNU-FLORES has actively contributed to the platform ‘Culture and Environment’ in linking the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals with the development of Dresden as a city.
