“Workshop 4: Entwicklungszusammenarbeit im Kontext internationaler Beziehungen [Development Cooperation in the Context of International Relations]” at the Dialogkonferenz Nachhaltigkeit

To open a space for a dialogue among actors in Saxony on the topic of sustainability, at a conference organised by the Saxon State Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture, four workshops will take place on different areas of action:

• Workshop 1: Education for Sustainable Development
• Workshop 2: Natural Livelihoods and Resource Conservation
• Workshop 3: Economy, Industry, and Innovation
• Workshop 4: Development Cooperation in the Context of International Relations

Upon the invitation of PRISMA – Centre for Sustainability Assessment and Policy at the Technische Universität Dresden, UNU-FLORES will participate in Workshop 4 and give the keynote speech. The speech will highlight the work of UNU-FLOES and the SludgeTec project.

Background

A number of opportunities have been created for stakeholders, experts, and engaged citizens to participate in the implementation of the sustainability strategy of the Free State of Saxony
