Andrea Müller is a Doctoral Researcher at UNU-FLORES working on decision support in water management. Her research focuses on the development of a framework for the integrated assessment of risk and sustainability of water scarcity and water reuse measures. Before joining UNU-FLORES, Andrea supported research and management at the School of Biochemical Engineering in the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile, where she collaborated in projects involving differential evaluation of cell culture conditions and bioactivity assays of natural extracts. Andrea has a strong background in bioprocesses, strengthened through internships at the Engineering Department of the wastewater treatment plant of the Chilean National Petroleum Company (ENAP), Chile and at the Centre for Solid Waste Bioprocessing of The University of Queensland, Australia.
