Tobias Hatzfeld is a Doctoral Researcher in the Joint Junior Researcher Programme between Technische Universität Dresden and UNU-FLORES. He is working for the DFG-funded project SFB TRR 280: Design Strategies for Material-Minimised Carbon Reinforced Concrete Structures—Principles of a New Approach to Construction, researching Sustainability Assessment Concepts for Disruptive Innovations such as Carbon Reinforced Concrete in the sub-project SFB TRR 280 E01.
Before joining UNU-FLORES, Tobias specialised in Life Cycle Assessment, Sustainability Management, and Composites and Textile Mechanical Engineering at TU Dresden. He has completed internships with DB Fernverkehr AG and SGL Composites GmbH. Tobias is especially interested in the advancement of Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment, whilst effectively integrating stakeholders.
