Nature-based solutions – actions that are inspired and supported by nature and use, or mimic, natural processes to manage resources – provide multiple services to address our water challenges and offer further benefits.

UNU-FLORES is currently developing the Constructed Wetlands Knowledge Platform to assess amounts of wastewater treated globally by this technology and support its establishment.
