2015/09/02 Stockholm, Sweden
The project followed up and built upon contacts and initiatives of UNU-FLORES in Mozambique and Sub-Saharan Africa in general. In a coordinated approach with partners in Mozambique, various other countries from the region as well as with international partners, a comprehensive research programme on integrated management of water, soil and waste was worked out, taken up in various follow-up initiatives. The major outputs of this “umbrella project” have been publications, some PhD research projects and research proposals for donor support. The broader research themes defined during the project are being taken up in several research initiatives of UNU-FLORES in Africa.
